Georgia Safari Conservation Park

Overview

A purpose-built visitor and operations facility for Georgia Safari Conservation Park, a working conservation site on 500 acres in Madison. The building bridges two demands that rarely sit together: a welcoming public face for guests arriving for tours and education, and the working infrastructure of an animal care facility behind it. A long, low silhouette with a deep cantilevered roof, dark standing seam metal, and warm wood accents lets the structure recede into the landscape rather than compete with it. Steel railings, paddock access, and service-side circulation are integrated into the design so the operational side never reads as an afterthought.
