A retail showroom and yard facility built for The Stone Store on Macon Highway in Athens. The building anchors a working stone yard with a customer-facing storefront, wide covered walkways on all sides, and a wraparound porch designed to display product in the elements where customers can see and touch it. Heavy timber columns on stacked stone bases, board and batten siding, and a deep red standing seam roof give the building a familiar regional vernacular while signaling the brand from the highway.
